Indedd with 35000 sysout by day, jes2 is the biggest consumer of cpu to handle 
his spool. We will prefer to purge the sysout from the source than send a purge

You're making an unproven assumption that the CPU time spent in exit processing will be less than the time spent in command processing. While it might very well be true, it's not as cut and dry as you seem to be thinking.
