I don't know if there are lists that describe what is available/valid.
I chose those two values, as I know my data as written to the screen
would not contain either of those. I can then scan the buffer after the
user enters data, looking for those hex values. This is my 1st time
writing code that uses a dynamic area for the screen output, so I'm
probably not the person to be directing question to.
