I think it's 3490-F01.  Attaches to any PC (or SCSI host, actually), need
not be Siemens or run Sinix or have ESCON.

OK.  If you need ESCON, then there are different choices.
I think it's impressive that any 3490-Cxx or 3490-Fxx are still
in operation, and indeed they are, but I haven't seen recent R+ numbers.
;-)
I have seen 3490-Cxx and the others with "out of service" signs
blocking their orifices.
