When one leaves ISPF usually there is a panel "Specify Disposition of Log Data
Set". Usually the answer is 2 - delete.

Q: how is it possible to exit ISPF by choosing some option (X - Exit) and NOT
see the panel? I saw it many moons ago.

BTW: I don't ask how to logoff TSO immediately after leaving ISPF. This is
another issue.

Issue the Settings command

Select the top menu item: Log/List

Select option 1, Log data set defaults

Select Process Option 2;press enter; PF3

Select Log/List again

Select option 2, List data set defaults

Select Process Option 2;press enter; PF3

done

after this, =x will skip the message(s) about log
or list processing.
