I suspect that the information you have received may have been misinterpreted 
from a notice that went out last year which stated that End of Support for XPAF 
V3.X  would be effective December 15th, 2011.  The notice further mentioned 
that all current XPAF customers should migrate to V5.0 prior to the V3.X End of 
Support date.

As previously mentioned in this thread we have just released updates for 
version V5.0 and are actively supporting this product.

With the recent enhancements added in XPAF V5.0 including the Xerox Forms 
Generator module, the industry trend to move away from channel connectivity in 
favor of TCP/IP connectivity and the XPAF CPU based licensing strategy with no 
per printer charges, XPAF is gaining momentum in the marketplace.
