The description of the FREEVOL command does not show a DAYS parameter. It also clearly states that the destination volume (ML1 or ML2) is determined by the LEVEL-1-DAYS-NONUSAGE of the management class controlling the dataset if the dataset is SMS managed. For non-SMS managed datasets, you need to use the TARGETLEVEL parameter.
