I agree. But the one time I tried to use GMT/UTC, back around 1979, I was almost lynched. Nobody could figure it out. I guess subtracting 5 or 6 from the hour, and adjusting the date, if needed, was just way to much math. I confuse everybody who rides in my case. The clock is set to GMT.
