This is really a naming standard question. Ours are in a PDS with a name that 
is common to all our systems (it's on the system pack). It relies heavily on 
system variables. The name is unique to our site.

So to answer your question: No, I do not believe there is a consensus.

I have seen various versions of where people store PROFILE and other parms
for TCPIP.

sys1.tcpparms
sys1.xxx.tcpparms
tcpip.tcpparms

and probably a few others... is there any consensus where they are
typically stored?
