Hi, The programmers would like incremental backups done of their test datasets. If I understand what the manual has told me, I have already completed the following steps:
1. Created CPY004 (Copy Pool definition for SMS Storage Groups TEST, TSTEXTAD and TSTLARGE). 2. Defined DUMPCLASS(INCRDLY). 3. Created control card for FlashCopy: HSENDCMD FRBACKUP CP(CPY004) EXECUTE FCINCREMENTAL DCLASS(INCRDLY) 4. Created job to send the command to DFSMShsm. Information that might be needed: - Total number of volumes in SMS Storage group TEST, TSTEXTAD & TSTLARGE is 347. - Total number of volumes in SMS Storage Group BKPOOL is 451. Here's the questions: 1. Since I'm using the same CopyPool volumes that I use at 5:00 am for the full volume backups, if I schedule the incremental backups to happen at 5:00 pm, will I have a problem? 2. Can I test it?
