Since you won't be mixing past and future data, I would expect the new
name to REPLACE any conflicting attributes, and use the existing space
as the primary allocation.  Secondary extents use JCL amount or saved
amount if not present, similarly on the RLSE.

IDCAMS VSAM DEFINE already has reuse, so just borrowing the term.
