1) What do you want it to do? There are a lot of SQL processors out there, including SPUFI and DSNTEP2 provided with your DB2 product. Reporting tools, not so much, but there are a few. Reporting tools cheaper than QMF, depends on how hard a bargain you can drive and what functions you need. CA has one, I think, and probably Compuware? Then there's Crystal Reports, or using MS Access, both of those through ODBC.
