Way back in z/OS 1.7, when JES2 added support for NJE over TCP/IP, INTRDR processing changed from running in JES2's main task HASPRDR code to running in the user address space.
As a result of this, console messages related to the submitted job now appear in the JESLOG of the submitting job.
