Bryan, I have put my SYSOUT/SYSPRINT to a HFS directory of my choice which more than suits me. Now the Unix chappies can cat and tail to their heart's content. Appreciate the tip. Andre En Réponse à "Bryan Klimek" <[email protected]> le 08 juil. 2011 20:44 Andre, Sending the WebSphere Application Server SYSPRINT to a file is covered in this TechDoc: http://www-03.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/WebIndex/TD101087 As for the use of log stream and the BBORBLOG log browse utility. I have found it to be of little value. In all the ETR's I have opened with IBM, they have never ever asked for the contents of what is in the log stream. I am aware of ../was.env and all of the things one can tweak in that file. Can I specify somewhere here that I want WebSphere to write it's error/ras log files to a directory that I specify, e.g. /Andre ?? We have also implemented the error log stream and that seems to work as advertised and can be browsed with BBORBLOG. Is there any way I can browse this logstream from a Putty / SSH session?? Your considered views much appreciated.
