In 2005, EE paid IBM $775 million in claims. See: http://www.investorguide.com/article/3054/microsoft-ibm-resolve-antitrust-issues-msft/ The EU gave them a pretty big bloody nose as well, to the tune of $1.6 billion. What seems ironic to me is that the predatory practices (in my opinion) MS engaged in from the beginning which gave them their market edge, were never challenged. When the (successful) challenge finally came, it was based on a shakier case regarding bundling I.E. Anybody remember doing a search on the web for "OS2" (prior to Google) on a Windoze machine, and getting very few hits? Anybody remember what happened to OS2 and its Boot Manager if Windoze was installed after OS2?
