2. Why do you need it? MSS is dead for so long time.
BTW: How did I met MSS, horror story of (then) new mainframer
I read i.e. about DFSMS "exclusion list" - datasets which cannot be
managed. MSS was there. I foun CYLOFL (or similar) in IDCAMS LISTCAT
output. No clue in manual, someone on the list explained that it's
related to MSS.
And so on, and so on.
The most important thing: Absolutely no manual explained what MSS is.
YOU SHOULD KNOW IT to understand the text in manual or message. The same
apply to CVOL.
