Open Database with IMS Java. 2. COBOL/Java Interoperability in IMS (COBOL calls Java with Persistent JVM feature and Java calls COBOL in IMS Java Dependend Regions). 3. Try IMS XML DB functionality. 4. Using the Hibernate Framework with the IMS Open Database Drivers and a sample IMS DB.
