For any given unit of work HASN *never* changes. Initially PASN=SASN=HASN. A
space switch PC "branches into" another address space, so PASN<>HASN.
Depending on how the PC is defined, SASN=new PASN, or old PASN so there's
still only two address spaces involved. If the space-switch PC routine calls
another space-switch PC then there is now a third address space involved and
(again, depending on how the PC is defined and what it does) you can end up
with PASN<>SASN<>HASN.
