IBM doesn't advertise or sell HATS to fulfill the missions you describe!
There's nothing in the product brochure, announcement letter, or product
documentation to suggest otherwise.

Somebody at IBM is selling this garbage as a TN3270 interface, because I
keep running into clients where this is their main remote access solution.
Not a big fan of HOD, either. Even the BlueZone plugin, which I abhor, is
better than that.
