Hello,
Although we don't officially support Sinhala script, the rendering
engine should be able to render Sinhala with a proper font provided. You
are welcome to file a bug on this at bugs.openjdk.java.net.
JavaFX8 which is bundled in JDK8 may be able to render it correctly, but
not sure as I haven't tried.
