Hi Nicolas, To answer your questions: - The applications are linked to libGL.so, but this library depends on the driver used by X. The DISPLAY environment variable affects the X server to be used by the application - The idea of such a wrapper is already used by Bumblebee, namely virtualgl (http://virtualgl.org/). - I don't think it would be useful to remap calls directly considering that the X server is responsible for rendering and displaying. Without using a solution like virtualgl, both actions cannot be separated. A solution dedicated to this design would certainly improve performance, but it'll likely requrie a lot work. https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/Bumblebee/issues/37
