This is for HP notebooks with a Sandy Bridge CPU and a Radeon 6490M(?) or 6770M in a muxless Bacon configuration. Do not flash if you have the same laptop with a 60xx or less model.
If at all possible, I'd like results with Catalyst 11.7 on Linux before and after the BIOS update.
No info on if/when there will be a BIOS update for the dv6z notebooks with Llano CPUs and the Radeon 6470M(?) or 6750M. HP is not responsible for drivers in a fully AMD laptop and I can only assume that Catalyst 11.7 added support based on the release notes.
