Hi guys, is there no way I get either acpi_call nor switcheroo running on my machine?
Acpi_calls are isn't working. in dmesg there is VGA switcheroo: detected DSM switching method \_SB_.PCI0.P0P2.PEG and this method is included in the latest test_off.sh but ... fails. Switcheroo failing also, echoing "OFF" for example to vga_switcheroo_switch reacts but brings mouse/screen to freeze after the xserver is restarted. Switching "DIS" on the console brings the screen to "soft freeze" (can type in commands), echoing "IGD" brings it back again then. I would guess my model has no hardware mux? I've checked the kernel log for relevant messages, there is: [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: 512 MiB GART (aperture) [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: PGRAPH: unsupported chipset, please report! [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: PGRAPH: unknown config: 2/0/0/0, 1 [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: failed to load fuc409d [drm] Driver supports precise vblank timestamp query. [drm:intel_dsm_platform_mux_info] *ERROR* MUX INFO call failed [drm:intel_dsm_platform_mux_info] *ERROR* MUX INFO call failed I've pasted my dmesg here: http://paste.debian.net/118220/ My problem here is that the Intel HD doesn't recognize my external 2550x monitor (plugged via HDMI with DVI adaptor), so I would like to use the Nvidia card - could bumblebee provide that? Turning off the dgpu while on the road wouldn't be bad either ... By the way, could anybody tell why there is no /proc/acpi/battery available here?
