I followed the instructions to install the kernel module and ran test_off.sh. It generated the following output:

And battery went from 3:30 to 6:05 hours. I will submit system information with the bug report. Thanks for all the hard work and hopefully my nVidia 540m card can be used with linux in the future... System: Dell XPS L502x notebook with Ubuntu 11.04.
