Yes, there is a:

\_SB.PCI0.P0P2.NVID._OFF

in the file. Can you try to add it to test.sh and see if it increases your
battery life after calling?

Run this before and after:
cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state | grep 'present rate'
