Hi, To use the nvidia card on the Asus U33Jc model, install the NVIDIA binary drivers, reboot, go into the BIOS, and change the "Boot VGA Controller Selection" from "Windows 7/Vista" to "Others". The nvidia module should load and you should see the "nvidia" logo as the system starts up.
To use the intel card, simply install a distro from scratch (eg. Ubunu 10.10), reboot with failsafe mode (failsave x-server), download the acpi_call module and switch off the graphics card reconfigure the xserver (it will use the integrated intel card), reboot and everything should be working. Remember to switch off the nvidia card using the acpi_call every time you reboot to improve the battery life.
