The up to date FindOpenMP instead had a larger set of output variables, including a list of library to be linked, perhaps updating the CMakeLists / CMakeModules to use this more recent version would help make this cleaner. On the other platforms we are using the upstreaming FindOpenMP directly. If this would work now also for Mac, then we could also remove our internal FindOpenMPMac completely. By the way, once all of this is upstreamed, if I renew my lapsed Apple Dev Subscription, would it be possible to upload code signed Hugin binaries to the website ? Yes, this would be possible. If all the build issues for Mac are iron out we could transplant these changes to the branch 2025.0, bump up the version number and release a new version.
