I do something similar. This part corresponds to the scripts http://www.lemis.com/grog/src/mkpto and http://wwww.lemis.com/grog/src/mkpto1 They won't work for you, because they rely on my directory layout and file naming, but if you find them interesting, I can answer any questions.
