I went through my sources and fixed the MainFrame issue by by fixing gettext sources. Compiled a version on M1 Sonoma downloadable here https://bitbucket.org/Dannephoto/hugin/downloads/Hugin-2024.0.1.dmg
Install and run in termina or it will close and complain of being damaged. xattr -cr Hugin hit enter.
