Did that work for you last time around? If so, maybe try it again.
BTW - you don't need special graphics hardware, because lux is
CPU-based. GPU load is not very large, processor graphics will usually
suffice. What you *do* want is a reasonably powerful CPU - I'd recommend
four cores and AVX2 or better.
If you don't get the .deb to install, please compile from source. lux
now uses cmake, and the build process is simple, just follow the
instructions on the bitbucket page (find the chapter 'Building lux on a
debian-based system')

The machine that's running Debian 11 (which presumably has newer
versions of libc6) doesn't have real graphics hardware in it (just the
old Intel glorified framebuffer).
