Apology to the mailing list, I have been made aware that the SMTP provider configured on my end mangled the link, turning it into a tracking link. Another user posted the correct link.
Needless to say that that the Sendgrid test has been terminated on my end. Was too good to be true. Back to good old self-hosted SMTP.
