Hello,

I'm trying to install HPLIP on Red Hat EL WS 4, have been mostly
successful and managed to get the software compiled and installed.
However hp-setup will not start and gives

error: CUPSEXT could not be loaded. Please check HPLIP installation.

hp-check tells me that PyQt is not installed and that none of the other
Python extensions can be detected.

---------------------
| PYTHON EXTENSIONS |
---------------------

Checking 'cupsext' CUPS extension...
error: NOT FOUND OR FAILED TO LOAD! Please reinstall HPLIP and check for
the proper installation of cupsext.

Checking 'pcardext' Photocard extension...
error: NOT FOUND OR FAILED TO LOAD! Please reinstall HPLIP and check for
the proper installation of pcardext.

Checking 'hpmudext' I/O extension...
error: NOT FOUND OR FAILED TO LOAD! Please reinstall HPLIP and check for
the proper installation of hpmudext.

Checking 'scanext' SANE scanning extension...
error: NOT FOUND OR FAILED TO LOAD! Please reinstall HPLIP and check for
the proper installation of scanext.

However I know that PyQt is actually installed.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] hplip-2.7.10]$ rpm -qa | grep PyQt
PyQt-devel-3.13-1
PyQt-3.13-1

How can I help HPLIP to find PyQt?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Aaron
