Hi, While reviewing this Pull Request:
https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-orm/pull/1842 I came to realize that we can't merge it as-is since it will break backward compatibility. However, we can have the user opt for this behavior, in which case we can break it. Let me know if there is someone disagreeing with my proposal.
