Hi Marc, those issues are certainly on the radar. Sorry we didn't work on them yet, as we're doing a big sprint on OGM currently. We'll be back on Search in a couple of weeks - I might try to give it a look before that as it seems important but I can't promise it.
I don't actually remember you sharing erroneous bug reports, but if you say so ;-) I'm certainly not ignoring you, pretty sure it's always useful feedback. But I disagree on saying that current releases are not fit for production. Sure it's an annoying issue but projecting on IDs isn't the only feature people use. If only you could have tested our beta releases ;-) But I understand, the changes were quite large to scare off most timely migrations.
