In JIRA I'm seeing this permanent message:
"Need to file a bug report and don't have an account? Email emmanuel at
hibernate dot org with JIRA Account creation as subject. You'll receive an
invite by email."
So have we abandoned the self sign-up? Why is this, due to spamming issues?
Not sure whether it's really a problem, but this may raise the barrier for
getting a JIRA account and thus stop some new users from reporting bugs.
