Directory index on Heroku

Hello there,

Is there a simple way to provide a directory index of a folder in / 
public in my app? I'm using Merb, and I could write my own directory  
list controller but there must be a simpler way to do this in Merb/ 
Rack/Thin/whatever I would have thought.

Any ideas?
