I also have 2 apps, both very similar to each other and am having the same issues. I haven't viewed or edited these apps for a couple of weeks now but 'app now starting' appears when I attempt to login, it then defaults back to the login page which it shouldn't do; but the user is logged in. The 'app now starting' also appears when I logout and just sits there spinning endlessly.
This must be something within Heroku.
