I successfully installed Guix under Fedora, using guix-install.sh.

Then at some point I did `sudo -i guix pull` (as in the manual, section 2.5
Upgrading Guix), after which my guix daemon is no longer running. (For example,
`guix gc` gives `guix gc: error: failed to connect to
`/var/guix/daemon-socket/socket`: Connection refused)

I'm going to try the suggestions in 2.5 for configuring the distribution to use
the new guix-daemon if one had installed with the distribution package manger.

Before I do that, though ... this is not supposed to happen, right? Is there
anything obvious that I did wrong?

Thanks!
