Hi Christoph! Apologies for the radio silence on this, I've been coming back to it on and off trying to wrap my head around the situation.
Thank you for making an issue on codeberg! I'll keep an eye on that and see if the fix progresses. Regarding your quick and dirty fix, I was able to run the command you provided with a file containing the specified text: > guix build --target=aarch64-linux-gnu -f fix-glibc.scm > accepted connection from pid 86821, user root > /gnu/store/pbpbc77bhc08f7rdkvhx6x8pzgrbs62h-glibc-2.41-debug > /gnu/store/2m9lzwp7mmxjfxp3pczf0nwh08bn8z98-glibc-2.41 > /gnu/store/cp7hvbb2xjlmjnsrqwvminwqagcyr6k5-glibc-2.41-static However, I'm not quite sure how I would specify that this patched version of glibc be used when running my original guix system command. I'm running guix on a foreign distro (a Debian podman container) so I don't believe I have base.scm file to edit. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. Please forgive the noob questions, and thanks again for the help. - Dakota On Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at 5:34 AM, Christoph Buck <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi again! > > I created an issue on codeberg, see > https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/issues/8765. > > -- > Best regards > > Christoph Buck <[email protected]> > > GnuPG key: https://web.icepic.de/public_key.txt > FingerPrint: B43F 4D2B 2017 E715 36C0 03C6 B8BB BCDE CD00 3305 > >
