Hi Fulbert,

I noticed the same thing on two systems I reconfigured last week. I'm also
using Network Manager.

It's definitely a bug, but I don't know if it was fixed already or not.

Hello!

Before I eventually report it as a bug, I juste wanted to make sure I
have not missed something.

Internet name resolution stopped working for me, after I updated Guix
system from commit 77ac8d7 to commit 35e88b7.

Since then, the '/etc/resolv' file only contains "# This is a
placeholder." in the first line and nothing else and any internet
connection to a URL fails.

Adding the nameservers manually to the '/etc/resolv.con' file
worksaround the problem.

I'm on guix system with Gnome and network-manager and the network
interface is automatically configured through my router dhcp server,
including DNS server addresses.

Trying to manually change the DNS server addresses using the Gnome GUI
for the wifi connection does NOT automatically update the
'/etc/resolv.conf' either.

There is no related network configuration in my system
configuration.scm file.
