Hi,

I changed my Codeberg password[0] with a new one generated by keepassXC
and I probably forgot to save it (I don't have the old one in my
password database so that's the most logical explanation).

I tried many times the password recovery mechanism[1] with different
browsers (Tor Browser, mullvad browser (so without Tor and with my
home IP that is in a non-profit ISP), with different IP addresses, etc),
and I never got a mail from codeberg, but I previously got a mail from
Codeberg telling me that I successfully changed the password, so my mail
([email protected]) is the right one.

The contact information[2] is a bit scary, they say they won't reply
anytime soon, and that there is an unofficial channel on IRC and a
Matrix one, and the part of mail says that it take a very long time to
get an answer.

So I tried IRC and I was told that my case was complicated, so I'm not
sure what to do. The most straightforward way would be through Matrix,
but I fear that it would be a can of worms (last time I tried Matrix it
took a long time to get something working as I had to read terms and
conditions, learn how to connect to it with Thunderbird, etc).

I assume that some people can contact Codeberg through Codeberg to have
it fixed somehow or forward me the information that I need to change
the password again.

This email is signed and my key can be found on savannah[3].

[0]The old password accidentally appeared on my screen in public
transportation and where I live public transportation is full of
cameras, so I guess that it's a good practice to change it in cases
   like that.
