Yes that is true. That's why I initially didn't respond to your message.
Then I got annoyed with the tone (not so much yours though) and got too
much involved I guess, sorry about that.
I do think this is a good topic for a GCD yes. It is a difficult topic
though that requires more smaller discussions to get right, and there
were some interesting people here, so I hoped to gather some viewpoints.
(Writing a GCD sounds daunting, gathering information that could be
useful for a GCD sounds doable.)
I would encourage you to engage in the guix-devel thread for this
topic[1], if you haven’t already.
