Maybe I’m wrong, but the idea of a Planet is not to gather articles about Guix ? In this demo, all articles in a list of blogs are gathered, regardless of its contents.
Yes, I agree, and that is the intention here. What you are seeing in an artefact of how authors tag their posts.
Take a look at the feed configuration: https://codeberg.org/ray1729/planet-guix/src/branch/main/planet/config.scm#L83 Many blogging platforms provide a feed per tag and where that's available I've subscribed to the Guix tag; for example, for David Thompson's blog the feed link is |https://dthompson.us/feeds/tags/guix.xml| For blogs that don't have a dedicated Guix feed (or where I couldn't find one) I added a couple of options for filtering which posts to include. For example: |((name . "Futurile") | |(link . "https://www.futurile.net/") | |(feed-link . "https://www.futurile.net/feeds/all.atom.xml") | |(filter . ,(category-filter "guix" "guile"))) This filter matches against the RSS/Atom category. I also implemented a `regex-match-filter` that will apply the match to the feed entry text (but I haven't needed this yet). Ray. |
