I cannot use :ro as it fails, but I was able to use :O which copies the source
to another location before mounting. For the settings, this seems like the
correct solution. Changes done within SearXNG won't be reflected out, but that
is pretty much what I want anyway.
Ah, a bad assumption on my part that SearXNG would need only read access
to its settings.
I wasn't aware of the :O option for volume mounts but you're right, it's
exactly what you need here. I have learned something today :-)
Thank you for sharing your service config, I haven't configured any Guix
services
yet so it's great to see more examples of how it's done.
