Hi Guix,

I have a monitor connected to my laptop.
The resolution 1680x1050 is not shown up in KDE, (but that is the resolution it needs. This is shown up on the monitor),
That's why I can't adjust it in the GUI System settings.

I installed xrandr
and tried to adjust it, but it didn´t work.

here my output:
gfp@Tuxedo ~$ xrandr

HDMI name of the monitor.

gfp@Tuxedo ~$ xrandr --output HDMI-A-1 1680x1050
xrandr: unrecognized option '1680x1050'
Try 'xrandr --help' for more information.

It is unrecognized.
Are there some flags/options missing?

Earlier, starting my laptop, it switched automatically to that option: 1680x1050, and interestingly it showed up in KDE settings,
but now it doesn´t.

What can I do?

thanks

Gottfried
