I apologize for very late reply. I am still in the middle of refactoring and
polishing the contents of the module for a more proper release.

Since the new year I was busy with other obligations, and then I forced myself
to move forward with my dream of properly setting up a personal website. It
took time and energy.

Anyway, as you have experienced, the current implementation of the proton-
bridge packages successfully builds into a failing program. My hope is that in
the process of refactoring and polishing the remaining package definitions
(which includes review of versions used) something will click into place and
the problem will fix itself.

I have no idea what the program actually is about, and if everything else
fails, I will have to contact Proton Support for assistance.

My immediate priorities (excluding personal stuff) are to:
1. use recently acquired experience to start the proper implementation of my
website (I have a pure HTML protopyte, now I want to include CSS);
2. install a personal Synapse homeserver for the Matrix network;
3. continue polishing the proton-bridge and start to build a personal
substitute server for Guix packages at the same time;
4. at some point install a Mastodon server;
5. transform the substitute server into a continuous integration service.
