Similarly plug-and-play here with Pulse and an 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio (rev 21)(although I haven't been able to suss out how to make the audio available over a ssh tunnel, and I vaguely remember that being easier in Ubuntu).
