Hi, thanks for helping me.
I have installed SANE in my config.scm
(modify-services %desktop-services (guix-service-type config => (guix-configuration (inherit config) (extra-options (list "--gc-keep-derivations=yes" "--gc-keep-outputs=yes")))) (sane-service-type _ => sane-backends))))
and also I installed some packages like xsane, sane-backends, sane-airscan, scanbdI checked the SANE database and it seems that my printer is not supported, because of the older version of SANE in Guix.
May be this is the problem. How would be the command to use libsane directly in the terminal? Kind regards Gottfried Am 23.02.23 um 15:51 schrieb Felix Lechner:

I would instead search the SANE database [1] for your device and use libsane directly. Kind regards Felix Lechner [1] http://www.sane-project.org/sane-supported-devices.html
