Sorry I think this will not work. The problem is that the GNOME packages reference the xkeyboard-config of the current guix. Therefore changed GNOME packages (referring to inferior or copy of old xkeyboard-config) and a changed gnome-desktop-service-type (referring to the changed GNOME packages) would be needed. It is much simpler to git clone guix into /home/luis/src/guix, git revert bcfff754, and set up `info "(guix) Using a Custom Guix Channel"` to (url "/home/luis/src/guix") until a fixed xkeyboard-config is released.
