I wish I knew this... For years I tried and gave up on substandard bluetooth headsets on Linux including Guix OS - if you happen to own a Bose headset - search for its USB dongle - it works great! I tried my NC700 with the dongle yesterday in a Zoom meeting from Guix OS and it worked flawlessly!
