I've just packaged autorandr, it looks pretty neat: - Save profiles based on monitor IDs. - Programmable hooks. - autorandr_launcher detects screen changes to automate the whole thing.

Totally! :/ There were a few embarrassing "xrandr moments" during FOSDEM... xrandr has been tripping many of us for too long, it's really something that we should not be fighting with in the 21st century :p Hopefully arandr and autorandr will prove handy in the future.
